To accomplish this mission, we are committed to attracting and retaining the best talent and an engaged and thriving workforce that drives a sustainable future for our company and society./ppWorking at IPG Photonics you can expect challenging projects, a motivating and friendly environment, and competitive benefits./ph3Duties/h3ulliProduct/component level assembly/liliOptical alignment/liliTesting of optical and laser components/liliWide range of assembly processes of precision opto-mechanical components including: soldering, adhesive bonding, UV Curing and mechanical assembly/liliCleaning and inspecting optics/liliCleaning and inspecting mechanical parts/liliOptical, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting/liliRepair/liliGeneral cleaning and upkeep of work area to uphold cleanroom environment/liliFollow company laser safety practices/li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliAs in Opto-Mechanical, Optics or Electronics preferred, or equivalent experience required/liliMust have 3 5 years of relevant experience/liliKnowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers and laser beam profiling equipment preferred/liliAbility to work in required cleanroom dress, i.e., gloves, bonnets, frocks, shoe covers, etc./liliMust have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity/liliProficient soldering skills/liliAbility to work with small parts under a microscope for extended periods for time/liliAbility to read and follow written instructions and schematics/liliMust be organized, energetic, reliable, timely and detail oriented/liliStrong communication skills/liliData entry skills/li/ul/div
