Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager at Iovance Biotherapeutics will oversee complex cross-functional projects at manufacturing sites in Philadelphia, report to the Senior Director of Operational Excellence, and mentor junior project managers. The role focuses on strategic alignment, risk management, and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop project management processes and provide guidance to junior project managers
• Lead complex cross-functional projects through all lifecycle phases with minimal oversight
• Manage portfolio-level risks and establish mitigation strategies affecting multiple projects
• Create integrated project plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Establish and report on key portfolio metrics and project progress to senior leadership

Requirements

• Project management expertise with ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives independently
• Experience developing and implementing project management processes and standards
• Portfolio-level risk identification and mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, timeline management, and status reporting
• Demonstrated mentoring ability for less experienced project managers
• Strong stakeholder engagement and matrix organization management skills
