• \tBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering (Preferable), or related engineering discipline.\n•\t3+ years of product design or product development engineering experience.\n•\tExperience supporting products through the full product development lifecycle.\n•\tHands-on experience implementing and driving APQP processes.\n•\tProficiency with 3D CAD modeling software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, NX, or similar).\n•\tExperience creating and managing large product assemblies and complex engineering models.\n•\tStrong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and engineering documentation.
• \tElectro-mechanical product design experience.\n•\tExperience working with electrical and mechanical systems within the same product.\n•\tBackground supporting new product introductions (NPI) in a manufacturing environment.\n•\tExperience working with cross-functional engineering and quality teams.\n•\tKnowledge of FMEA, validation testing, and quality planning tools. Job Description We are seeking a Project Design Engineer to support our Client’s Service offerings and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. This individual will work closely with be the lead engineers to develop, improve, and launch client-specific products (critical infrastructure solutions), driving projects from concept through production readiness.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong electro-mechanical engineering background, though highly qualified mechanical engineers with product development experience will also be considered.\nKey Responsibilities\n•\tSupport engineering and offering Service teams in the design and development of various products.\n•\tExecute product design projects from concept through production release.\n•\tCreate and maintain 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering documentation.\n•\tDevelop and model complete product assemblies rather than individual components, ensuring system-level functionality and integration.\n•\tLead or support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities throughout the product development process.\n•\tImplement APQP methodologies, quality planning processes, and product launch best practices.\n•\tPartner with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and service management teams to ensure successful product implementation.\n•\tParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, validation testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n•\tSupport product changes, enhancements, and new product introductions.\n\nSalary: 120-135k USD
