Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours/week. Start time may be scheduled between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
Local Candidates Required: No
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate
Traveler: $2,920–$3,010/week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
Experience providing radiation therapy treatments according to physician-directed plans.
Ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment.
Ability to properly prepare and position patients for treatment.
Ability to monitor patients and report concerns appropriately.
Strong clinical documentation and treatment-record skills.
Knowledge of radiation safety and infection-control practices.
Ability to collaborate effectively with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a radiation oncology setting.
Familiarity with multidisciplinary radiation therapy workflows.
Responsibilities
Provide radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed treatment plans.
Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
Prepare and properly position patients for treatment.
Follow treatment protocols and physician-directed plans of care.
Monitor patients throughout treatment and report concerns appropriately.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and departmental policies.
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
Perform other radiation therapy-related duties as required.
