Job Description What you will be doing: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in the clinic and occasionally in participants' homes. Develop individualized treatment plans based on participant needs, goals, and functional abilities. Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans. Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, cognition, and independence with ADLs. Provide active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional rehabilitation. Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), providing guidance on Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs). Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality participant care. Experience you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (Master's degree preferred). Active California Occupational Therapist License or proof of license eligibility. CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferred, or ability to obtain both within 180 days of hire. 1 to 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred. Experience working in one or more of the following settings: Outpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health. Experience treating adult and/or geriatric populations. Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
