Continuous Improvement Manager

Locations:

• Longview, TX
• Memphis, TN

Must Haves

• 8+ years in manufacturing or operations environments
• 5+ years leading or supporting Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives
• Experience supporting multi‑site operations
• Experience in tier 1 automotive, aerospace, electronics, HVAC, or heavy equipment industry backgrounds
• Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and Lean activities
• Ability to explain how they fully owned and drove Kaizen events. How they guided their teams and streamlined the entire process, what the results were, etc.
• Green Belt, Black Belt, or Six Sigma certifications
• Hands‑on Lean Manufacturing background (VSM, Standard Work, 5S, RCA, PDCA, etc.)
• Consistent career progression inside of their company (tenure and progression within companies)
• Demonstrated ability to drive waste reduction, process stability, and throughput improvements

Plusses:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field (they can be flexible on this for the right experience -- they have tuition reimbursement and can work with them)

Day to Day:

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead enterprise‑level Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across all five manufacturing sites. This leader will partner closely with senior operations leadership and cross‑functional teams to deploy CI strategy, strengthen problem‑solving capability, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned CI professional with multi‑site experience who can influence at all levels, drive measurable business results, and standardize CI systems across the organization.
