Payroll Specialist

Department: Accounting This is an in-person position at our headquarters in Noblesville, IN. Hours are 8am-5pm (or 7am-4pm) We are growing and looking to add an additional payroll person to our team! A successful Payroll Administrator will administer our weekly payroll for all employees which includes union, field and office (multi-state). Paycor and Viewpoint by Vista utilization, administration and navigation are essential to accomplish the daily duties of this role. The right candidate will have union payroll experience, be systems savvy in Payroll and HR Information modules and will have the desire to understand the complexities of working between systems to achieve accuracy in payroll and in reporting. Payroll Administrator Department: Accounting This position is a member of a high-output Accounting team. Process documentation and cross training are in place for this position. Key Responsibilities Process payroll weekly Time sheet review Reporting Union Certified Jobs Government Internal Month-end schedules & adjustments Work direct with HR to: Maintain employee files Assist in benefits 401k reporting Promptly answers inquiries in a friendly, positive and helpful manner. Maintains a teamwork like attitude Helps with workloads and side projects for all departments as directed by manager Preferred Experience Union payroll Viewpoint by Vista experience Paycor (or another payroll system experience) Important Skills Strong attention to detail, team player, ability to work in many programs and multitask.
