Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

Serves in the National Programs Directorate (NPD) as an expert authority on budget formulation, execution, and reporting.

Analyzes budgetary issues and provides expert guidance and direction to management and staff on budget formulation, funds execution, and allocation for multiple funding sources and Reclamation-wide programs.

Conducts analyses and sets rates to recover costs for various bureau, office, and regional revolving funds.

Collaborates with budget, finance, and accounting staff across the Washington Office, Denver Office, and regional offices to manage all NPD Directorate budgets in a fiscally sound, timely, and prudent manner.

Provides leadership within the team by guiding, training, and reviewing the soundness of budgetary analyses. Ensures the fiscal integrity of all Directorate funds, obligations, expenditures, contracts, and agreements.

Serves as a primary point of contact for all budgetary issues and provides support for several multi-million-dollar accounts for Reclamation.

Serves as a subject-matter expert for all funding sources within the NPD Directorates, including revolving funds and discretionary and mandatory appropriations.

Participates in and/or leads studies and teams; coordinates and gathers data on financial and budgetary problems and issues.

Analyzes data, prepares alternative courses of action, recommends solutions, and implements resolutions.
