Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN job description incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. Required skills include clinical competence, patient care management, nursing theory, and nursing practice. An Associate's degree in nursing is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. This position may require floating as needed and working up to every other weekend.
