Job Summary As a Nail Technician for Spa Mirbeau, you’ll deliver consistent, high-quality nail services—from manicures and pedicures to enhancements and wellness-focused treatments—tailored to guest preferences and aligned with spa standards. From perfect shaping and polish to restorative, wellness-focused treatments, your work will ensure each guest experience feels personalized, relaxing, and refined. The ideal candidate brings a calming presence, clean technique, and a steady, skilled hand. They are passionate about helping guests find balance, beauty, and renewal through elevated nail care. Holding a valid NYS license and maintaining high standards, this professional consistently delivers thoughtful and purposeful services ensuring all guests enjoy a personalized and rejuvenating experience. Pay Rate: $25.00 to $29.00 per treatment, plus gratuities, retail commission and full-time incentive. Potential to make up to $45.00 per hour. **Please Note: availability 2p-7p and weekends is required** Responsibilities Guest Services Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and polished appearance Provide consistent, high-quality nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and wellness-focused treatments aligned with spa standards and guest preferences Deliver relaxing, personalized treatments with a gentle, precise touch, exceptional attention to detail and mindful presence Consult with guests to recommend treatments, polish options (including award-winning Dazzle Dry), and retail products tailored to their needs and preferences Use guest names naturally when known, demonstrating attentiveness and recognition Demonstrate anticipatory service and a genuine sense of care and concern for guest comfort and satisfaction Reconfirm treatments, assist with transitions to locker/resting areas, and support a seamless guest journey Cleanliness, Safety & Sanitation Maintain clean, organized and fully sanitized treatment areas, stations, and tools in compliance with all spa, state, and health department regulations Follow all safety, infection control, and product usage guidelines as mandated by state boards and spa procedures Properly handle, store, and use products and equipment to maintain safety and assist with cost control Professionalism & Service Knowledge Demonstrate deep understanding of all spa nail services, techniques and product offerings Arrive on time and exhibit a neat, well-groomed appearance with proper uniform and name tag throughout each shift Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor, speaking with clarity, kindness, and respect throughout all guest and team interactions Teamwork & Spa Operations Collaborate with spa attendants, front desk staff, and fellow providers to ensure smooth spa operations and guest flow Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing development as required by spa leadership Assist with general spa duties or special requests as directed by the Spa Desk or Spa Director Demonstrate flexibility and support spa scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays Technical Excellence Apply polish systems (including award-winning Dazzle Dry) with precision, care and consistency Provide thoughtful service enhancements such as gentle exfoliation and light hand, arm, foot or leg massage to compliment treatments Perform all services with efficiency, technical skill, and attention to detail- respecting scheduled timing and service flow Stay informed on seasonal treatments, spa promotions, and current trends in nail care and wellness industry best practices to continuously enhance the guest experience Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements Licensing & Experience Must hold a current and valid New York State License Prior experience in spa, wellness, and refined hospitality environment strongly preferred Technical Skills & Expertise Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and clean technique in all services Skilled in shaping, polishing, and delivering flawless, long-lasting nail results in keeping with guest preferences High-level artistry with a focus on clean beauty, wellness and guest comfort Demonstrated ability to perform flawless services with minimal to no error Ability to maintain the highest level of standards for cleanliness and hygiene Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, pivot, and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced spa setting Professionalism & Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills; articulate and professional with clear, polished language Courteous, poised, and well-spoken- avoids slang and maintains elevated guest communication at all times Presentable, polished and approachable demeanor Commitment to providing refined, personalized service with warmth and professionalism Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-standard environment while remaining calm and composed Guest Experience & Service Outgoing, friendly, and genuinely guest-oriented with a desire to create lasting client relationships and loyalty Passionate about wellness, clean aesthetics, and self-care practices Focused on creating exceptional, lasting results while supporting the guest’s overall experience Meticulous and thoughtful in every interaction- consistently strives for excellence with minimal error Committed to learning, growing, and upholding the highest service standards in a team environment Employee Perks & Company Benefits Discounted rates for services and retail items within the spa!! 401K with company match Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Plan Employee Assistance Program and Resources Paid time off for full-time AND part-time employees!!
