The Wellness Instructor is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long-term goals and objectives, provides excellent customer service, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives meanwhile providing exceptional levels of services, personalized attention and professional state-of-the-art instruction that significantly contributes to each member’s health, wellness, and fitness goals.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe energetic and structured class format.
• Ability to lead 2-4 classes per week in the modalities of strength, functional training, TRX, HIIT, Pilates, cycling, golf fitness, and flexibility training. 
• Provide a high level of personalized attention to guests before, during and after class.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the exercise class studios and the maintenance of the exercise class equipment; monitor the cleanliness and safety of the studio. 
• Energetic, friendly, positive, and motivational teaching style 
• Focus on customer service with ability to build strong relationships with members. 
• Conducts private or duet training sessions as needed 
• Dedicated, reliable, and punctual.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience leading Fitness Classes 
• Preferred Private Club experience. 
• CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Physical  Requirements :

• Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 3 hours in length.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. 
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
