CT Technologist - PRN

Position Summary This role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation safety standards. The technologist exercises professional judgment, evaluates patient conditions, and delivers appropriate care aligned with organizational policies and regulations. Responsibilities include proper patient identification, positioning, and technical manipulation to produce accurate images, as well as assessing image quality and applying radiation safety principles. The role requires proficiency in contrast administration, venipuncture, and emergency response to adverse reactions. Additionally, the technologist may supervise students and new staff, utilize radiology computer systems effectively, and maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification ARRT (R or CT) or NMTCB certification Key skills: professional judgment, patient assessment, technical proficiency, radiation safety, teamwork, and adherence to policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
