Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care to patients in the step-down unit, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of progress.
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies in the patient population served.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document findings and interventions in a timely, precise manner.
- Administer medications and therapies per the plan of care, while observing safety and infection control protocols.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNA and ancillary personnel within their scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, coordinate timely discharge planning, and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
- Ability to work nights with 12-hour shifts (3x12) on a mobile, travel-friendly assignment
- Capacity to provide nursing care in an inpatient step-down unit setting
- Proficiency in interpreting ECG rhythms and responding appropriately to life-threatening events
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
