Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.Job Responsibilities:Able to perform all CT exams within scope of practice, capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding, and knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedureAble to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD's, transfer images, and print from PACS.Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate formsMaintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the departmentScheduling options: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or Monday – Thursday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AMWe are offering a $30,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.Job RequirementsGraduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic TechnologyMinimum of 12 months of experience as a Radiologic TechnologistRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRTMedical Radiographer: NDBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), within 30 DaysRegistered Technologist Computed Tomography within 18 - monthsPreferredCT Technology experience in a Critical Access HospitalCHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado.
