Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Frederick, MD

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; weekend and holiday call required as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience and a track record of travel nursing assignments. You will work alongside surgical technologists and will not be required to scrub in for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide optimal patient care in the surgical setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure effective and safe practices.
• Participate in surgical procedures, adherent to accepted protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of current, recent operating room RN experience.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
