Accounting Manager – Real Estate Development/Construction

land development company looking to add an Accounting Manage r to its team. $120K-$125K + 10% bonus

1 day work from home

95% of benefits paid for

PTO-2 weeks + 2 floating holidays and 9 paid holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with project and property managers to develop financial forecasts, monitor project performance, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Exp in General and Cost Accounting with REIT, land acquisition and development and/or industrial construction (or any combo) experience required.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Perform cost analysis and monitor project/development costs
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Partner with leadership to support business decisions
• Cash flow management, leading forecast and planning
• Work with Project Managers to ensure budget and timeline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate, land development, or construction industry experience preferred
• Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and cost accounting skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with Yardi is a plus, but not required
