Restaurant Bartenders and Servers must be able to create a pleasant atmosphere by being attentive to our guests and have a complete knowledge of our menus and offerings. Attentive, reliable, and customer-oriented bartender with experience taking orders and interacting with customers in an unpredictable volume restaurant environment. Confident and proficient team player with excellent problem solving, decision making, and communication skills. In addition to bartending duties, you will be responsible for assisting on the floor to serve food to guests during service hours.Can be Full-time or Part-timeBartender & Server Functions:Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcomeTake customer's food/drink orders while being polite, friendly, and helpful to guestsBe able to suggest appropriate substitutions, wine pairings, sides, etc.Confirm orders accordingly to your assigned section and tablesReplenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee/dessert services in a timely mannerAlways maintain clean tables and bar efficientlyCater to the guests requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer serviceHandles all member charges as prescribed by standard operating proceduresPerforms all assigned side workGeneral clean-up (bussing of plates, glassware, silverware, etc.)Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conductNotifies and reports any problems or concerns to managementInspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are stockedPrepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinksAssess customers' food and beverage needs and preferences, and be able to make appropriate recommendationsMixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to the pre-approved recipesProcesses payments/checks accurately and efficientlyMaintains daily inventory, records of liquors, beers, and wineCleans and closes up according to prescribed proceduresReports to the Restaurant ManagerRequirements:Must be at least 21 years oldHigh School Diploma or EquivalentA minimum of 2 years' experience bartendingFamiliarity with POS systemsPrevious experience in a county club setting (preferred)Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beveragesRAMP CertificationMandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies and rulesRegular and predictable attendance.Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all timesFrequently Wash Hands for proper food handlingRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistanceMust be authorized to work in the United States
