Position Highlights Location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104 Department: Radiology CT Scan Services Work Hours: 40 per week – Monday through Thursday, 6:45AM–5:15PM Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or associate degree (preferred) 1 year of radiologic technologist experience without ARRT‑CT (required) or no experience with ARRT‑CT (required) ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (required) or (if 1 year experience) within 12months (required) CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the Texas Department of Health or the Texas Medical Board (required) BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required) Responsibilities Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to and during exams Image the correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols Perform complex procedures including age‑related criteria and developmental considerations Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed Send and transfer images to PACS correctly Assess and recognize the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions Operate, care for, and maintain equipment Prepare the room for examination (e.g., suction, oxygen, supplies) Administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards between patients (injectors, table tops, floors) Benefits & Perks 401(k) PTO Medical, dental, vision, and other health benefits Paid parental leave Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Student loan repayment programs Continuous learning and mentorship opportunities Team‑based environment with support for career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
