Build Furniture That Lasts.Stickley is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within the Upholstery Manufacturing team in Archdale, North Carolina.This is an opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who is passionate about employee development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will leverage Lean manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction while building a highly engaged and accountable team culture.Job ResponsibilitiesLead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement goalsCoach, develop, and support production team members while building a culture of accountability and teamworkMaintains daily and weekly work schedules and adjusts schedules and plans to meet production goals and business objectives.Responsible for product flow moving throughout the assigned departments.Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S workplace organization, standardized work, and process improvement activitiesWork with Group Leaders and staff to identify opportunities to improve workflow, maintain safety, reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve product qualitySupport the implementation and sustainment of process improvements through employee engagement and follow-upEnsure employees are trained on safety, quality standards, processes, and equipmentMonitor production performance, address issues, and implement effective solutionsPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other teams to improve operationsSupport employee growth through coaching, feedback, cross-training, and skill developmentApplies company policies, procedures, and performance expectations consistently and fairly, partnering with Human Resources regarding employee relations matters, coaching, corrective action, and performance management as appropriate.Promote an open-door culture based on trust, respect, fairness, and communicationWhat You'll Bring3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading production teams and achieving operational goalsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skillsAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environmentEffective communication skills with employees at all levelsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferredWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, including Kaizen, 5S, continuous improvement, standardized work, or waste reduction is a plus the ability to analyze production metrics and implement data-driven process improvements.A commitment to safety, quality, employee development, and operational excellenceFurniture manufacturing experience is a plus.
