Employee Relations Manager

Labor Relations / Employee Relations Manager (Field-Based) (Travel ~25%) We’re partnering with a growing organization looking to bring on a people-first, boots-on-the-ground Employee Relations leader . This is not a sit-behind-a-desk HR role—this person will spend the majority of their time (about 75%) out in the plant and on job sites in the field, building relationships and being a true advocate for employees. If you’re someone who naturally connects with people, earns trust quickly, and isn’t afraid to get your hands dirty in a construction or industrial environment, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Be Doing: Serve as the voice of the employees —a trusted, visible presence across job sites Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues Conduct investigations and fact-finding related to employee relations matters Partner with managers to provide guidance on performance, discipline, and employee engagement Help create and maintain a positive, proactive workplace culture focused on engagement and trust Support communication between leadership and employees to resolve issues before they escalate Be actively involved in the workforce— daily interaction with employees is expected What We’re Looking For: Strong people skills —someone approachable, relatable, and respected on the floor Experience handling employee relations issues (complaints, investigations, FMLA questions, etc.) Comfortable working in construction or industrial environments (not climate-controlled offices) Willingness to travel across NC and SC (~25%) Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a big plus Why This Role: This is a unique opportunity to step into a role where you’re not just “HR”—you’re a true employee advocate and culture driver , helping shape the day-to-day experience of the workforce in a very visible, impactful way. #J-18808-Ljbffr
