You'll play a critical role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and empathetic experience—whether in person, over the phone, or online. Your work helps set the tone for the entire visit and ensures smooth coordination between clients and the clinical team.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and pets with warmth and professionalismManage check-in and check-out processes efficientlyAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiriesCommunicate clearly about wait times, services, and costsHandle payments and maintain accurate financial recordsSupport digital record keeping and client communicationsCollaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flowMaintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby area, and exam rooms.QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare settingStrong communication and multitasking skillsComfort with fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environmentsBasic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling systemsPreferred:Experience in veterinary urgent care or emergency settingsFamiliarity with veterinary software and digital platformsBilingual (Spanish/English) is a plusCompensation & Benefits$22 – $25/hourProfessional growth opportunitiesCE: If it moves your medicine forward, we're in!Uniform support401(k) with match after 90 daysPaid parental leaveProfessional development supportWhy Scout?We care... a lot.
