Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting the Database Engineering and Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Application Programmer III Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Design, develop, and review database changes in accordance with industry best practices. Apply Agile methodology for database design, normalization, and development tasks. Utilize SQL and PL/SQL to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement database solutions that support business needs. Conduct performance tuning, capacity monitoring, and troubleshooting of database systems. What's Needed? Expert‑level proficiency in Oracle Database, including the latest versions. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL programming, and database design (ER diagrams, normalization). Proficiency in tools such as TOAD and OEM for database management. Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structures, and background processes.
