Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and bright individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, a sense of ownership, and excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, along with a curiosity about emerging technology trends.

Key Responsibilities

• * Develop database utilities using PL/SQL for large-scale databases.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers in Oracle 19c/21c.
• Perform performance tuning, including the optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
• Maintain reusable development standards for implementing solutions and enhancements.
• Design solution approaches for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Provide code reviews and mentor across multiple agile teams.
• Read code in multiple languages and inspect infrastructure to understand the current state before implementing changes.
• Understand client requirements (stories), create story-level designs, and translate them into deliverables.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 7 to 15 years of professional experience is required. This includes a proven track record in implementing large databases in Oracle and contributing to enterprise project deliveries, preferably within a financial institution.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle packages, procedures, functions, and analytics functions.
• Experience with CI/CD migration using platforms like BitBucket or Artifactory.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and JIRA for story grooming and execution.
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with object databases and other relational databases is preferred.
