OB/GYN Physician | Santa Cruz, California | Stanford NICU Support

Join a hospital-employed OB/GYN program in Santa Cruz that is rebuilding its service line with a manageable delivery volume, strong midwife support, and established clinical resources. 

 

Position Highlights

• Hospital-employed OB/GYN group with a practice mix of approximately 70% obstetrics and 30% gynecology
• Supported by 7 Certified Nurse Midwives with a shared OB and CNM in-house call model
• Robotic surgery access with a Da Vinci system and NICU staffed by Stanford Medicine neonatologists
• The Family Medicine residency program provides additional OB patient support

Schedule & Call

• Approximately 3.5 clinic days per week
• Four 24-hour in-house call shifts per month with a post-call day off built into the schedule
• Option to transition into part-time work if desired

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a base salary with RVU productivity incentives, a generous sign-on bonus tied to a multi-year commitment, a structured compensation model supporting steady, sustainable volume, and a robust benefits package. 

 

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Open to new graduates and experienced physicians alike
• Comfortable with in-house calls and team-based OB care
• Interest in contributing to the growth and direction of a rebuilding program
