Job Title: Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule : Full-time; 37.5 hr. work week

Pay Rate: $33-$43/hr. DOE

Employment Type: Contract; 3-month assignment

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Seattle law firm to find an experienced temporary Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant. This position supports attorneys on complex litigation matters, including commercial and construction disputes. The ideal candidate has at least three years of litigation experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses
• Prepare and electronically file documents in state and federal courts, including trial and appellate courts
• Maintain electronic case files and track case information from inception through final disposition
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and maintain contact information
• Assist with new client intake, travel arrangements, expense reimbursement, and other administrative needs

Qualifications:

• At least three years of litigation legal administrative assistant experience, including support of complex litigation matters and experience with Washington state litigation
• Commercial and construction litigation experience preferred
• Experience with state and federal court e-filing, document management, and time and billing systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong proofreading skills, with excellent attention to accuracy, spelling, and grammar
• Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and collaborate with a team to meet deadlines
