Scope of Position: This highly motivated individual, as part of the Assembler team, will be responsible for assembling water heaters and/or components using hand tools and portable power tools. This position reports to the Manufacturing supervisor, will be fully onsite and based in Fort Worth, Texas. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Assemble and test commercial water heaters and burners using hand/light power tools, tape measure and measuring devices, such as torque wrenches.
- Troubleshoot any abnormalities that may occur during manufacturing or assembly.
- Read, understand and follow assembly instructions.
- Utilize gas analyzer equipment for testing
- Adapt to any new requirements or processes.
- Inspect parts and finished products for quality, reporting defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow standard operating procedures.
- Perform day-to-day functions: assembling, 5S Housecleaning, participation in any and all required safety training, power tools and hand tools usage training.
- Assist other team members when needed, remain flexible and able to perform other duties as needed.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Value Stream Supervisor or Company management.
- Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical assembly, electrical wiring, hydro testing, plumbing, setup, insulation and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for wiring and plumbing instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and engineering drawings as needed to build/assemble products.
- All other duties as required.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
