Heavy Equipment Technicians
Allied Reliability
Allied Reliability is seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians (2 Master level and 2 Certified Level) for Zinc Mining operations. Key Accountabilities
- Adhere to all MSHA regulatory and company standards
- Must have a Safety-First mindset; leading the way to a safe work environment
- Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on underground mobile mining equipment such as loaders (LHDs), haul trucks, bolters, scalers, drills, and utility vehicles.
- Inspect, service, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, braking systems, drivetrain components, and electrical systems including CAN-bus controls.
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend component life.
- Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret schematics, service manuals, diagnostic software, and onboarding monitoring systems.
- Lead major component repowers including engines, transmissions, axles, pumps, and cylinders.
- 3-5 years minimum Heavy Equipment Mechanical Experience
