Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals Northeast San Antonio is partnering with an established logistics, transportation, and storage organization to place an Office Clerk on a temporary position, with a potential to transition into a long-term assignment or to get hired on by the company. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment and is comfortable supporting multiple internal teams. Work hours are primarily Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; however, operational demands may occasionally require an early start, work past 5:00 PM, or infrequent Saturday availability.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Process and manage operational documentation related to shipment activity, ensuring records are accurate and complete within internal systems
  • Enter, monitor, and track shipment and warehouse data across multiple platforms used by operations and warehouse staff
  • Coordinate routine administrative communication with customers, vendors, and internal personnel
  • Organize, maintain, and update physical and electronic warehouse records in accordance with company practices
  • Provide general clerical and administrative assistance to Operations and Warehouse leadership as business needs arise
  • Support a culture of workplace safety by complying with established procedures and participating in branch-wide safety expectations
Qualifications We Are Seeking:
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction precisely while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, service-focused approach when interacting with others
  • Proven organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing daily priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools or similar business software, with the ability to learn internal systems quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent; limited related administrative or clerical experience acceptable
  • Flexibility to support occasional schedule adjustments, including extended hours or rare weekend work, as operational needs require
