Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Room environment. This position involves working varied shifts and requires adaptability to staffing needs and unit policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following clinical protocols and patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and provide critical interventions.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license, with pending licenses accepted if in hand by the start date.
• Possess at least 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year of Level 1 or 2 years of Level 2 ER experience with some pediatric exposure.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC; can submit with TNCC pending but must obtain it before start.
• Demonstrate experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Have excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
