About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary Vice President of Technology to spearhead the enterprise technology function and, in particular, to build the technology foundation for a new major-league venue. This leader will be responsible for the venue's technology strategy and delivery program, ensuring that the technology ecosystem is integrated, secure, and capable of supporting a world-class fan experience. The role involves setting the technology vision and roadmap for the organization, overseeing IT functions, driving innovation, and building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in stadium, arena, or major live-event technology, with a proven track record of leading complex, high-availability environments and a deep understanding of technology architecture and operations. Candidates for the Vice President of Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with 8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience. Direct experience in a similar role within a professional sports or live-event environment is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be a strategic and visionary leader, adept at connecting long-term technology strategy to execution, and will be responsible for managing significant technology budgets, projects, and partnerships. Key qualifications include a strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data and analytics, and enterprise applications, as well as fluency in AI and emerging technologies. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the values of the organization.
