Senior Tax Accountant

Looking for tax work that challenges you, not just keeps you busy? I am representing an independent CPA firm in Grapevine TX that is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Supervisor who wants broader technical exposure, closer client relationships, and direct access to firm leadership. The firm has a close team of four, so your work will be visible and your questions will reach the people with the experience to answer them. You will work with individuals, privately owned businesses, and an established portfolio of international clients. That creates exposure to technical issues, planning opportunities, and client situations that go beyond routine domestic compliance. The role includes preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, supporting planning engagements, working directly with clients throughout the year, and helping guide junior team members where appropriate. This could suit someone who wants to strengthen their technical judgement and take greater ownership without becoming one person in a much larger and more layered firm. Public accounting experience at Senior or Supervisor level is important. Experience with Drake or international tax would be helpful, but a willingness to learn will also be valued.
