Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting Sunvalley Communication’s medical communication and publishing services to healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and outreach, preparing and delivering presentations, supporting the development of marketing campaigns, and coordinating with internal teams to align sales efforts with communication strategies. The specialist will track sales performance, manage pipelines, provide client service and follow-up, and contribute to training materials and sales tools that support ongoing business growth. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand needs, and provide responsive support. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to drive new business, manage pipelines, and contribute to revenue growth. Candidates should possess Training skills to support client education, internal team enablement, and effective use of communication and publishing offerings. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries, especially oncology or hematology, is highly beneficial. Proficiency in basic CRM tools, sales reporting, and digital marketing concepts is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
