If you’re an experienced DSP, Caregiver, Lead DSP, House Lead, or Team Lead who is ready for more responsibility, this could be your next step into leadership.

As a Program Supervisor with Missouri Mentor, a member of the Sevita family, you’ll lead and support a team of Direct Support Professionals serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

You don’t need to already have “Supervisor” in your title. If you’re the person who steps up, helps train others, solves problems, and keeps things moving, you may already have the foundation we’re looking for.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of DSPs
• Help train and onboard new team members
• Coordinate schedules and help maintain staffing coverage
• Support daily program operations and quality of care
• Promote independence, safety, and person-centered support
• Communicate with staff and leadership to keep the program running smoothly
• Step in alongside your team to provide hands-on support when needed, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, and community activities

This is a leadership role, but you’ll never be disconnected from the people we serve.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience in lieu of education
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A compassionate heart and a natural drive to lead by example

Experience as a DSP, Caregiver, Lead DSP, House Lead, Team Lead, Residential Support Professional, or Direct Care Worker is a great foundation for this role.
