For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Team Member Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance HVAC Technician, you'll be responsible for:Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systemsInstalls, maintains and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipmentIdentifies maintenance risks on equipmentDiagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systemsCleans, adjusts and repairs systems, and performs warranty servicesPerforms emergency repairs promptly and efficientlyPerforms preventative maintenance on equipmentEnsures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety ActCompletes other duties as assignedWillingness to Work at Various Heights: The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in elevated environments. This includes tasks that may require being at different heights for extended periods.Ladder Climbing: Regular climbing of ladders is a critical part of this position. The candidate must be capable of safely ascending and descending ladders of various sizes and types.Utilizing Various Lifts: Proficiency in operating a range of lifts is essential. This involves maneuvering scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other mechanical devices to reach higher areas.QualificationsWe're looking for candidates who are dependable, experienced, and ready to make an impact.
