Job Title: RN Emergency Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing Certifications: - Advanced Life Support - Basic Life Support - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Advanced Cardio Life Support Must-Have: - Ability to work in a stressful environment - Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
