Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.Job DescriptionFixed Income Hedge Fund Operations OverviewThe Fixed Income Hedge Fund Operations role supports trade flow and lifecycle management for fixed income and listed futures strategies.Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and operations to ensure smooth trade execution and resolution of discrepancies.Contribute to a fast-paced, multi-strategy hedge fund environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operational processes.Engage in daily trade capture, reconciliation, and lifecycle event management for fixed income instruments.Identify and resolve operational gaps, driving process improvements and enhancing workflow efficiency.Work within a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities effectively.Leverage your expertise in fixed income products and trade lifecycle events to support diverse investment strategies.Fixed Income Hedge Fund Operations Key Responsibilities & DutiesMonitor and address portfolio manager requests and trade-related inquiries promptly and accurately.Perform daily trade capture and reconciliation for fixed income and listed futures strategies.Investigate and resolve booking discrepancies, P&L questions, and trade disputes efficiently.Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to manage trade lifecycle events and settlements.Support system issue resolution and workflow optimization in collaboration with technology teams.Communicate effectively with front office and internal teams regarding escalations and open items.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.Manage lifecycle events for fixed income instruments, including maturities, resets, and rollovers.Ensure accurate and timely booking of all trade activities and maintain comprehensive records.Fixed Income Hedge Fund Operations Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade support, middle office, or operations roles.Strong knowledge of fixed income products, listed futures, and trade lifecycle events.Proficiency in performing daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations.Experience in a multi-strategy or multi-PM hedge fund environment is preferred.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and familiarity with OMS/PMS platforms are advantageous.Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks under pressure.Exposure to additional asset classes such as equities, derivatives, or FX is a plus.
