Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Jacksonville, Illinois. This role involves providing critical patient care within a 25-bed Critical Access, Magnet hospital, focusing on adult and geriatric patient populations. The position requires comprehensive assessment and management of complex clinical cases, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, minimum of 2 years' ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications. First-timers accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner charting system experience.
• Float: Float within scope as needed.
• Additional Information: Must have experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insulin protocols, management of multi-system organ failure, and critical care procedures like chest tube insertion. Candidate should be capable of managing arterial lines, ventilator systems, and emergency medications. RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred, with availability to work two of the three major holidays.
