Finance Intern

We are currently looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Intern to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the Finance Business Partner Operations team, contributing to financial planning, performance analysis, and operational insights for our production and supply chain activities.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance business partnering, factory controlling, and financial analysis, within a fast-growing and international industrial environment.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial results, focusing on operational performance (costs, variances, productivity)
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, collecting and validating inputs from different operational departments
• Contribute to KPI tracking and reporting (e.g., cost efficiency, inventory, working capital, production performance)
• Help analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability drivers, identifying risks and opportunities
• Support inventory and working capital analysis, including reconciliation and improvement initiatives
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for the Operations leadership team
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, tools, and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other Finance teams)

Requirements

To make the above work, we are looking for an intern who is able to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. Other essential requirements:

• A degree (or ongoing studies) in Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Strong interest in financial analysis and operations/manufacturing environments within the mobility/energy industry
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and fluency in English
• Fluency in Italian is not necessarily required.
