Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring all steps of the procedure are conveyed with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to obtain the highest quality diagnostic images
• Manage the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
