Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Shift: M-F - 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $68,000 – $95,000K
Must Haves:
• 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical experience (equipment maintenance and troubleshooting)
• Experience working with industrial equipment such as blenders, mixers, boilers, and HVAC systems
• Ability to support general building maintenance and repairs
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD & Autodesk Fusion 360
- Familiar with use and programming of PLCs & Ladder Logic
Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical/Process Engineer to support operations and drive efficiency within their facility. This individual will troubleshoot equipment and process issues while using SPC to improve quality and reliability. They will lead efficiency initiatives from identification through execution, ensuring measurable results. The role includes managing small capital projects, such as sourcing equipment, obtaining quotes, creating purchase orders, and coordinating timelines. They will partner with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support repairs, upgrades, and ongoing improvements. This individual will also help optimize workflow, equipment layout, and overall space utilization to maximize efficiency. Early on, they will work closely with the maintenance team to gain hands-on exposure to key systems and operational processes.
