Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing thorough post-trip washes on all trucks returning from the field, as well as identifying and repairing equipment that is broken or in need of maintenance. Key duties include testing the functionality of all truck accessories and performing service as required to ensure operational readiness. Additional responsibilities include refurbishing and painting containers and supporting warehouse staff with general housekeeping and upkeep to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

This position will be Monday - Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Additional skills and qualifications that may be valuable for this role include:

- Basic mechanical and diagnostic skills for troubleshooting and repairing truck and trailer systems

- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and routine inspection protocols

- Experience safely operating power washing and detailing equipment

- Knowledge of proper surface preparation, sanding, priming, and painting techniques

- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

- Understanding of workplace safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and solvents

- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with warehouse and fleet staff

- A valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)

- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods

Northwest Biofuel is a locally owned grease trap cleaning and cooking oil collection company serving restaurants throughout Oregon and Washington. 100% of the used oil and grease collected from restaurants is recycled into clean burning renewable diesel.
