As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. About the Role Operating the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls, providing information and taking messages Greeting all visitors entering the facility and directing or escorting them to their destination Assisting residents, family members, employees, and other visitors as needed Performing general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry Maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access Maintaining the general filing system and filing all correspondences appropriately Receiving and sorting daily mail, delivery, and couriersReporting any issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator Qualifications Experience in the Long Term Care industry is preferred Past clerical/reception experience preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask Physical Demands Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations #J-18808-Ljbffr Aperion Care
