Lead Commercial Electrician

LED INDY is seeking an experienced Lead Journeyman Electrician who can independently execute and lead commercial and industrial electrical work.

This position is ideal for a skilled field leader who wants more ownership, greater visibility, and the opportunity to help shape a growing electrical division from the ground floor. Unlike massive mechanical contractors where your impact is hidden, you will work closely with company leadership, take full ownership of field execution, and have direct opportunities to advance into project management or division leadership as our operations expand. You will lead a wide range of forward-looking projects involving EV charging infrastructure, electrical distribution, lighting, data, low-voltage systems, service work, remodels, and new construction.

Significant commercial or industrial electrical experience (approximately 7–10 years preferred, but fewer considered for candidates demonstrating strong leadership and exceptional technical skill).

Demonstrated ability to lead field crews, assign work, and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Strong working knowledge of three-phase electrical systems.

Ability to perform commercial electrical work independently.

Ability to read plans, determine materials, and organize field work without repeated direction.

Demonstrated conduit-bending ability.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices.

$35 to $45+ per hour, based on experience, leadership ability, and technical skill.
