We are passionate about multiplying possibilities for our employees and our partners.Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.Key Essential Functions/DutiesFacilitate supplier onboarding and ensure required records are complete and accurate and within compliance standards.Facilitate accurate and timely onboarding of new items into procurement and ERP systems, including collecting pricing, specifications, and master data requirements to ensure data integrity and readiness for commercialization.Assign material numbers in accordance with company naming conventions and data standards.Manage the creation and tracking of purchase orders for projects, capital expenditures, and operational needs, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines and procurement policies.Collect, maintain, and analyze supplier and product information for reporting purposes. This can include supplier diversity, country of origin, spend analysis, and compliance metrics.Work with the procurement team on sourcing events by gathering quotations, coordinating supplier communications, and maintaining sourcing documentation.Identify and facilitate actions related to opportunities to improve procurement workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency.Maintain and update the administrative management of supplier agreements, including document retention and record maintenance.Collaborate with Procurement Specialists and cross-functional teams to support sourcing initiatives and business objectives.Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications (required)Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.1-4 years of experience in purchasing, administrative support, or related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred SkillsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).Experience with food manufacturing.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Roskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401 (k) plan with company match.AAP/EEO Statement: Roskam Foods is a recognized veteran-friendly and equal opportunity employer.We are excited to introduce you to all that Roskam has to offer—from the many valuable benefits to programs that support your lifestyle needs and opportunities for professional development.
