Business Analyst

So here's perfect: enough years to be knowledgeable and independent, has had an in-house "generalist" project management role doing end user Business Partner support [meaning, not road warrior consultant, who does mega projects/implementations], specifically is FI CO ace and doesn't tap the piggy bank for more than $115k.Due to growth, we are adding a Business Analyst to our internal SAP IT team for FI CO support. Position is responsible for ongoing support and new project implementation for finance and accounting for our Americas Regional or global Corporate teams. Predominant responsibilities revolve around providing day-to-day support, trouble shooting and resolving incidents as the liaison with technical teams. In addition will be responsible to assess business needs and analyze current business process or requirements in order to design solutions, configure, test and implement changes.

Major responsibilities
• Scope, develop, and implement IT/SAP projects on time and within budget.
• Analyze impacts, dependencies, constraints and assumptions to evaluate and design solutions, create test plans, to include cost justification and technical compatibility
• Provide process documentation
• Interface with technical teams and variety of 3rd party vendors
• Configuration support
• Provide support, investigation, advice and technical solutions to assigned end user groups
• Develop, implement and manage plans for product implementations, updates, upgrades or acquisitions. Includes configuration, proper documentation, release notes, end user training, testing and debugging within timelines and budget

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor Degree: IT or related discipline preferred
• Min 5 years demonstrated FI/CO project scoping and implementation

Preferred Skills and Industry experience :
• Swim lane diagrams, flow charts, Decision Logs, Systems Entity Diagrams, Data Model Diagrams or Project Management tools
• Direct finance or accounting experience
• AFS
• Depth related to product costing; a/p, a/r, treasury; profitability
• Familiarity with small company, hands-on, fluid, multiple concurrent projects, entrepreneurial environment
