Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Surgical ICU (NSICU) night shift position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and NIH Stroke Certification.

Details

• Work in the Neuro Surgical ICU (NSICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent NSICU or critical care experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neurosurgical ICU patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
