We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator / Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational issues within the logistics process while ensuring exceptional service for clients. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between the company, clients, vendors, and agents, helping to ensure smooth shipment execution, minimize delays, and improve overall operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving, client interaction, and logistics coordination. This role will be remote once training is completed.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients, providing professional and timely support.
• Communicate shipment updates, issue resolutions, and service information to clients, vendors, and agents.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely execution and proactively address potential delays.
• Analyze operational issues and identify root causes to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal teams, international agents, carriers, and customers to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding operational and customer service improvements.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience while managing multiple priorities.
• Manage and understand import/export shipment documentation requirements.
• Utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) to process and track shipments.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation.
• Collect vendor pricing and prepare rate proposals for customers and agents.
• Provide accurate freight quotations in accordance with company guidelines.
• Assist with pricing inquiries and transportation solutions.
• Support the Company President with sales follow-up activities and customer communications.
• Assist with rate requests and customer information gathering.
• Set up new customer accounts within CargoWise and maintain accurate customer records.
• Support business development initiatives and customer relationship management efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs processes, and international shipping documentation.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably CargoWise.
• Import/export operations experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain operations.
