Day shift: 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)

Job Description

The RN Operating Room will participate in liver transplant cases and additional surgical procedures as needed. Candidates must possess strong experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant to support a high-functioning surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in liver transplant surgeries and manage transplant cases.
• Operate with proficiency in MISONIX/CUSA technology.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care responsibilities.
• Participate in training and mentorship for students and new staff.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of direct Liver/Transplant RN experience.
• Valid RN license and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience putting organs back in patients post-harvest.
• Demonstrated competency in surgical procedures related to organ donation and transplant.
