Application Coord - EPIC - Orders

Application Coordinator – EPIC – Orders Design, build, test, validate, and support clinical and revenue cycle applications. Obtain and maintain appropriate Epic certification. Keep in-depth knowledge of software functionality and relevant workflows. Provide tier III 24/7 on‑call support. Implement configuration changes approved by the appropriate committee. Collaborate across interdisciplinary workgroups to design future‑state workflows and build the system. Represent the Information Services team and maintain critical business relationships with co‑workers, physicians, and all Epic users. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree or current clinical licensure in nursing, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory or related field. Or four (4) years of experience in business administration, information technology, science, healthcare or a related field. Work Experience Three (3) years of healthcare or IT experience, including one (1) year of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) application experience. Or seven (7) years of healthcare or IT experience, including one (1) year of EMR application experience. One (1) year working directly with Epic applications in a clinical or IS field is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Current Epic certification. Or active Epic proficiency achieved with a score of 90.
