Description Billing Collections Specialist Join our dynamic and growing orthopedic and multi-specialty practice as a full-time Billing Collections Specialist. At Tri-County Orthopedics, located in Jefferson, New Jersey, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and efficient billing processes. Key Responsibilities Follow up on patient and insurance accounts receivable to ensure timely collections Post payments accurately and efficiently Perform data entry related to billing and collections activities Process secondary insurance claims to maximize reimbursements Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance representatives Conduct account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances Coordinate benefits and verify insurance eligibility for patients Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly Requirements Skills and Qualifications At least 3 years of proven experience in medical billing and collections, preferably in an orthopedic or multi-specialty setting Strong understanding of insurance requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment Strong verbal & written communication skill Intergy software experience a plus Problem solving skills a must Detailed Orientated a must Have a friendly disposition Education High school or equivalent (Required) At Tri-County Orthopedics, we foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment where your expertise can make a meaningful impact.
